The NHL delivers some of the most grueling and competitive game-play in professional sport, regardless of its . Not only that, but the Stanley Cup can be argued as one of most prestigious trophies to win with teams going through 28 games of playoffs – which is nearly a third of the regular season – just to have a chance of winning ultimate glory.

To add to the level of competitiveness the fans see, the entire playing field is the most even it’s been in some time with no teams repeating their Stanley Cup win the following year since the start of the decade (albeit a few teams making multiple appearances). This makes for some entertaining viewing as all NHL analysts and enthusiasts go into each season attempting to make educated predictions but instead see things go in an entirely different direction before their very own eyes – no doubt the best part about sport!

A city that has seen a lot of success as of late is Chicago. Their Cubs recently won the World Series in a seven game thriller and the Blackhawks have won two Stanley Cups in five years and are still clearly the team to beat despite their recent roster reconstruction. For this reason alone, Chicago should definitely be on the bucket list if you’re a sports lover and attending the upcoming blockbuster between the Blackhawks and Penguins should be a must.

Both teams are evenly poised to finish top three in their conference and considering Chicago have only lost one game all February, the Penguins will be eager to make a mark on one of the better teams in the league.

With the game not until March 1st, you’ve got plenty of time to book your tickets through SWiAM by simply clicking here as well as following all updates and scores on the Blackhawks’ website!
