Hey Sports Where I Am-ers!
I’m thrilled to introduce myself to you and announce that I’m the latest member to join the ever-growing Sports Where I Am crew!
I’m a sports nut from way back, so, recently, I decided to leave my job in Melbourne, Australia, and move to the centre of the universe, none other that New York City, to follow – you guessed it – sport!
I have always wanted to follow an entire NFL season, so that’s what I’m going to do! I’ll be crashing sports bars, tailgates, eating giant hot dogs and loaded cheesy chili fries (it’s a thing) and bacon on stick (that’s a thing too!) I’m really going to immerse myself in the sporting culture over here and I cannot bloody wait!
I have to be honest, I loved my job back home. I worked in radio as the Senior Producer for Triple M’s Hot Breakfast hosted by Eddie McGuire, Luke Darcy and Mick Molloy, plus I was a boundary rider for AFL games on the weekend. However, I just knew it was time for a new challenge, a new dream.
It’s a little scary leaving behind a familiar life, but I don’t want to have any regrets and I believe it’s never too late to do something you’ve always wanted to do.
So, to kick things off, please check out this short intro video we have put together.
